AEBC - Australian Employee Buyout Centre

The AEBC's mission is to preserve, protect and enhance jobs through employee ownership.

The AEBC is a provider of expertise and support for substantial employee equity participation and involvement in Australian businesses.

Internationally, employee ownership and participation has resulted in significant increases in productivity, national savings, business prosperity, jobs and social inclusion. Employee equity participation combined with employee involvement in the operations of a business can result in increased returns to the business and improved job satisfaction and job security for the employees.

The AEBC can facilitate the transfer of equity ownership to employees in the following situations:

  • Sale of a business to it's employees;
  • Subsidiary demerger;
  • Turning around a failing business through offering employees a stake in the business;
  • Business succession where employees acquire shares in the business over time; and
  • Privatisation and externalisation of government entities to employees.

If you are selling a business or if you are an employee looking to buyout or buy-in to your employer, please fill out an enquiry form .

The AEBC is an associated company of the Australian Employee Ownership Association Inc. (www.aeoa.org.au).

The AEBC managed the "Jobs That We Own" project - a project that was funded under the Australian Government funded "Jobs Fund" which finished on 30th June, 2011.
